to remember how to calculate the mean (average).
- draw a face:

How It Works
(Mr. Mean never smiles and makes you work)
- start with the eyes - add #'s
- nose - count #'s (how many factors do you have?)
- mouth - divide by that number
Example
- 20 + 30 + 40 = 90
- 3 numbers (factors)
- 90/3 = 30
- 30 is the mean (average)
